What the YB Technique is
YB Technique extensions are small strands of 100% real human hair. Each strand ends in a tiny nano ring. A stylist passes a few of your own hairs through the ring together with the extension, then closes the ring so it holds both. There is no glue and no heat.
The rings are very small. They sit close to your roots and disappear under your hair, so the extensions look and move like your own.
How clip-ins work
A clip-in set is made of a few wide pieces of hair called wefts, with small clips sewn along the top. Our La Coco clip-in set, for example, has five clip wefts of about 27 inches (around 69 cm) and weighs about 250 grams.
You put them in yourself in under five minutes. At night, you take them out.

The YB Technique is sold piece by piece, so you choose the amount. Around 100 to 150 pieces add light volume. Between 150 and 250 give natural fullness across the whole head. From 250 to 350, you get the most length and volume.
The nano rings are light, so we recommend the YB Technique for fine or medium density hair that needs an undetectable finish. It can be washed, curled and straightened like your own hair, and it is safe with heat tools. Clip-ins suit anyone who wants a change for one occasion and her own hair again the next morning.
Which one should you choose?
Think about how often you want the extra length. For a wedding weekend in Riyadh or a family dinner in Kuwait, a clip-in set gives you the look for the evening and your own hair back by midnight.
